Ronald Haines began in the health insurance industry in 1982 as director of marketing of the Grand Valley Health Plan, a health maintenance organization, then served as a regional vice president for Capitol American Insurance Company.  He started HCI in 1991.  HCI has since grown as an independent brokerage representing the leading insurance companies in Ohio and providing ongoing support and service to our clients.

Let's face it, insurance sounds dry and boring and with all of the industry jargon it can also be annoyingly confusing.  It is, however, very very important, so in these pages I'll provide you with what I hope you'll find to be useful information and I'll do so using common English.  Plus, I'll be telling you about the new and innovative options available that might change the way you look at health, life and retirement.

What I'd like to do is learn about you and your needs then match you to the products that best meet them, or tell you to stay put if what you have is working well.  I'll provide you with information and if you like my ideas my hope is that you'll trust me and become a long term client, but I'm not going to hustle you for a sale or bombard you with annoying sales closing techniques.  As an independent broker I have no agent quota's to fill.  So please, consider me your health, life and retirement resource.
